Mini Projector, Native 1080P Portable Outdoor Projector, YOWHICK DP02 Movie Projector

I needed a small projector for our Friday Family movie night. Looked at several options on sale and found this which hit all the requirements.
I needed 1080p and basic inputs. I wanted a usb port to power a Roku or Amazon fire stick and this had all those options. When I got the projector, it was much smaller than I expected. But this thing packs a punch ! The brightness and resolution definitely blew me away. I hooked this up to a Laptop so that I could try different resolutions and see how sharp text looks at full resolution. I’m happy to say that the resolution is definitely native 1080P.
In a world where manufacturers are trying to cut corners, a HDMI cable is included. I’ve included a picture of the inputs (HDMI cable attached). Focus control is good (focus dial is not loose or too stiff, just right). Keystone correction is a bit sensitive but hopefully that won’t need too many adjustments once its set. I’m definitely really glad I choose this projector and our Family movie nights will definitely be more entertaining.

I put this in my livingroom to point at my vertical blind. With the lights on looks a bit faded, lights off works much better. Surprisingly the pictures and video look better than when I’m watching it…. I don’t like that I couldn’t change the tint option as it’s fixed, so that was disappointing. I was very frustrated with that because most of the skin color look yellowish and I want it more pinkish…. Also the brightness washes the blacks and dark shadows which I don’t like and maybe that’s due to a lower contrast ratio. Remote control it’s a bit sticky (buttons not as responsive). Speakers sound good to me but I can still hear the fan.

As I was frustrated with not being able to use the tint option I reached out to customer service and Joshua has been responding to all my questions in a promptly manner. Maybe I’m too picky but overall, for the price, I think this projector it is still a fair value.

We absolutely love our projector. We use this as our bedroom TV with our firestick! Waaay cheaper than a big clunky TV and the picture is amazing, you can make it so big and clear that its like you are sitting in a theater! Their customer service is impeccable and I'm impressed!

This projector is great for the price and the size makes it perfect for any usage. In a Dorm room for a movie outside. The fan can be a little loud but once you have a movie going it is not all the noticeable. Customer service is fantastic and got back to my questions, A simple camera stand should be able to work to provide as a mount. The remote control is a little bit tacky but almost all the remotes i have used are like that, so it is fine.

I purchased this to enlarge artwork for mural work. I did not think at the price it would be much for watching movies, boy was I surprised. I connected a ROKU ULTRA LITE via the HDMI cable and I get all the same selection of channels as my ROKU smart TV. This is currently being projected on a dirty wall in a garage turned into an art studio. My only complaint would be the sound. It could be a little louder, so I will be adding a sound bar in the near future. All in all a great buy.
